At the heart of NaMasYoga are values that guide every class, retreat, and gathering.
These principles create a safe, nurturing, and supportive space where we can move, breathe, and grow together.
In yoga philosophy, Prema (love) and Karuna (compassion) are essential for inner peace and connection with the world. Through yoga, we cultivate Ahimsa (non-violence)—a practice of kindness towards ourselves and others.
Love allows us to live with an open heart, release tension, foster compassion, and embrace life’s offerings with gratitude.
As a teacher, I care deeply for my students and encourage them to embody self-love and respect through their practice. Together, we move with awareness, breathe with intention, and nurture inner peace—so that we may navigate life with openness, grace, and love.
Coming from Indonesia, a land of rich cultural diversity, I grew up with a deep appreciation for harmony, unity, and authenticity. In my culture, we embrace living together as one, while honouring individuality.
Yoga teaches us that we are all unique—and that true balance comes from embracing our authentic selves.
By staying true to ourselves and listening to our bodies, we cultivate self-awareness and inner peace. In my classes, I invite students to tune in, listen deeply, and be fully present—creating a space where love, respect, and authenticity flourish both on and off the mat.
Yoga invites us to practice Ahimsa not only in action, but in our thoughts and words. Kindness matters—in the way we treat ourselves, and in how we connect with others.
In my yoga classes, there is no competition—only curiosity, self-discovery, and growth. We are each on our own journey, moving at our own pace, with compassion at the heart of it all.
By cultivating kind thoughts and kind words, we reconnect with ourselves, nurture self-compassion, and create a safe, supportive space where everyone feels welcome.
These principles are more than ideas—they are living practices.
They shape every breath, every movement, and every connection at Namasyoga.
Together, we create not just a yoga practice, but a way of living rooted in love, authenticity, kindness, and respect.
“Yoga is not about touching your toes, it is about what you learn on the way down —
kindness, respect, and love for yourself and others.”
